Our Cash Advance Program (CAP) formerly know as MEPA, is a new financial product being offered by LPI Healthcare Financial Services that effectively replaces Medical Account Receivable financing. CAP is a specialized funding program for the healthcare industry that will provide an immediate source for working capital funding. CAP is an easier, less expensive and more flexible form of financing. CAP was developed to meet the financial needs of the Medical and healthcare professional that has relied on a traditional finance funding source, with CAP, Healthcare Professionals are able to leverage ALL of their electronic receivables to obtain financing and are freed from the burden of collateralizing specific invoices, which are usually backed by a personal guarantees to satisfy the financing needs of the operating of the business.
What is CAP:
Our Cash Advance Program (CAP) is an advance based on any electronic means by which money is deposited into the banking account(s) for the practice each month. Credit cards, insurance 3rd party payments, patient financing, scanned checks and ACH direct deposits can all be considered.
CAP is not a loan. It is an up-front lump sum cash payment.
Most advances are utilized for smaller dollar amounts (less than 50K) and paid back over a period of 6 - 8 months. Advances can also be structured for larger dollar amounts and paid back over a longer amount of time 10-12 months. Advances used to inject equipment and or capital improvements into the practice have stronger approval ratings and generally more favorable rates.
